ICE RINK IN MEADOWLAND PARK OPENS FRIDAY

The Village has installed a temporary ice rink in Meadowland Park for the winter months on the basketball court area adjacent to the Baird. The rink will be open to South Orange residents with a current Recreation Department Membership I.D. and their guests. The guest fee is $5 per person per day. The rink will be supervised by Recreation Department personnel and I.D. Badges will be checked at the gate.

 

Bring your own skates!

The rink will be open this week as follows:

Friday December 29, 12:00-8:00 pm
Saturday December 30, 12:00-8:00 pm
Sunday December 31, 12:00-5:00 pm
Closed January 1st

 

 

Rink hours beginning January 2nd (weather and ice permitting):

Monday-Friday 3:30 to 9:00 pm
Saturdays 12:00-9:00 pm
Sundays 12:00-6:00 pm

Weather and ice conditions will dictate when the rink will be open.

GUEST ENTRY- The only FREE entry is for residents with a Recreation I.D. Badge. I.D. Badge holders may bring guests and purchase access for guests by paying $5 at the Baird.

HOCKEY – Hockey will be permitted at the discretion of the rink supervisor depending upon crowd and conditions.
